Joe Crews is a training, service and consulting "safety nerd". He is well known, respected and regarded as an Expert in the material handling business.
His clients have included ABB/Kuhlman Electric, Goodyear, General Electric, Caterpillar, Cooper Tool, Siemens, Volvo, Flow Serve, Columbus McKinnon Corp., and the Navy Crane Center.
Joe has 20 + years of experience traveling extensively to sites all over the world providing services for companies using material handling equipment.
His titles include Certified Overhead Crane and Hoist Operator, Certified Inspector and Instructor, OSHA Outreach Trainer, and is classified as a Master Rigger.
Joe Crews is a member of the Association of Crane and Rigging Professionals, National Safety and Health Council, American Society of Mechanical Engineers and recently retired 26 year NAVY veteran. He is also a notary public.

OSHA Training and Gadgets
Bobby Davis and Tom Savage were recently presented certificates of completion for their participation in the four hour training conducted by Joe Crews at Coffing Hoists (Columbus McKinnon Corporation). Course subject matter included operator daily inspection requirements, standard hand signals, sling inspection procedures and basic rigging.
Joe Crews (of CMK) donated items for the OSHA Education, Training and Technical department to use in the recently adapted NC State Dept. of Labor 13NCAC .07A OSHA Crane Standards.
Donated items were chain gauges and rigging pocket guides to assist compliance officers with the proper tools they needed for crane and hoist inspection.

Provide consultative services for plant safety management, environmental safety & health regulations and accident investigation. Assist end-users with policy and procedure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local occupational safety regulations, industry standards and company procedures.
